Reiki Evening Courses - two evenings per level

Reiki 1: £150 | Reiki 2: £180 . Book BOTH levels for £299

Usui Reiki evening courses cover the same material as the intensive one-day courses and you receive the same certificate. You will have the opportunity to practise on yourself and on friends and family between your Reiki evening classes, and we really do encourage you to do so and come back to the second session with your questions, and to talk about your experiences with Reiki. Dr Usui taught the first Reiki classes slowly, over a long period of time and so learning this way is much more like it was originally. You will have time to digest and reflect on your first session and to absorb the energies of the first attunements and empowerments before coming back for more. Reiki is taught using the original Japanese techniques and the course will leave you able to understand the principles of Reiki and how to use it for your own personal as spiritual development as well as for treating others. The Reiki 2 course is insurable for professional practice and you will be able to go on to the Master/Teacher level when you are ready to do so.

Indian Head Massage: £175

The evening course in Indian Head Massage covers the same material as our one-day Indian Head Massage Practitioner Diploma and is recognised for membership and insurance by the Beauty Guild/Guild of Holistic Therapists and other professional bodies. Anatomy & Physiology is NOT required. Our Indian Head Massage Diploma evening course will teach you how to safely and effectively give a traditional massage to the neck, shoulders, scalp and face with or without the use of oils.

Indian Head Massage is an extremely effective therapy that has evolved from traditional techniques practised in India as part of family rituals for over a thousand years. The technique taught by us is true to the original massage brought over to the UK from India. The treatment involves massage through the clothes to the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck, face and scalp, with the client sitting comfortably. This means that you can give the treatment almost anywhere, and so it is excellent for pamper evenings, or indeed for offering in a hair salon or other public venue.

Indian Head Massage works on the neck and the shoulders where stress affects major muscle groups, as well as on the head and hair. It often brings immediate relief to tired, tense shoulders. The efficiency of the circulatory and lymphatic systems improves, toxins are dispersed from tense muscles and flexibility and fluidity of movement is restored. Our routine begins with a massage of the neck and shoulders, some work to the arms follows and then the scalp is massaged and the hair briskly tussled and gently combed. The massage finishes with some techniques to the face and ears. Although it is easy to learn the basics this form of massage should not be taken lightly. It is both subtle and deep, leaving the client feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated. An Indian Head Massage lasts about 30 minutes.

Thai Foot Reflexology: £275

Our Thai Foot Reflexology Diploma course involves an hour-long massage and reflex treatment using a traditional stick and wraps, opening and closing rituals, the use of oils and a pedicure/pampering routine. Knowledge of foot massage and reflex work in Thailand has been handed down by word of mouth across the generations, from father to son, from mother to daughter and from teacher to pupil. It is still taught by Buddhist monks in the temples of Thailand. All parts of the lower legs, feet and hands are included and it involves hands-on stretching, massage, stimulating reflex points and follows the Thai energy lines (Sen). Thai foot massage is thus hugely beneficial for optimum internal health, and this type of drugless therapy creates a physiological change in the body by naturally restoring homeostasis.

Hopi Ear Candling Course: £150 - 7 - 10pm

Our Ear Candling/Thermo Auricular Therapy Practitioner Diploma course are both accredited, and you can insure through our recommended broker. The course is suitable for therapy beginners as well as for holistic therapists who wish to add to their skills. Anatomy & Physiology is NOT required as the course includes all the information you need to carry out the treatment safely. The course includes a full ear candling routine using more than one brand of candle, so the course is not brand specific. You will learn to prepare the client for their treatment and carry out a consultation before the treatment.

You will practise carrying out an ear candling session safely and then giving your client a facial massage to give a beautiful finish to their session. We use natural, organic and cruelty-free products in our treatments and you will be given details on how to get them to use in your own business. Ear Candling is carried out on a couch, with the client normally lying on their side supported with pillows and cushions. The candle is lit safely away from the client, then gently placed just inside the ear canal. Heat funnels down inside the candle, then up again, a process known as 'the chimney effect'. The moving air gives the ear drum a gentle massage and is believed to help regulate ear pressure. The client experiences a feeling of comforting warmth and hears the sizzling of the candle as it burns. Both ears are always worked with the candles. The client lies back or reclines comfortably on the couch for their facial massage which includes massage cream or oils. The massage helps to improve circulation and lymphatic drainage, may help clear the sinus areas and is enjoyable and relaxing for your client.

Using beautiful natural products combined with gentle facial massage enables you to offer Ear Candling as a deluxe, pampering option that your clients will return for again and again! It is a therapy which is popular with men as well as with women, and men are a growing market for salons and spas.
