What is Feminine intimate Waxing?

Feminine intimate waxing is the removal of unwanted body hair from the pubic area of the body. Depilatory wax is used and we work with two types of wax, warm strip wax and hot wax. There are several different types of intimate waxing treatment and you will learn how to use appropriate wax and waxing techniques to achieve them. 

Who is this course for?  

Before you do this course you need to have a qualification in waxing using warm and hot wax.  This is NOT a beginners course. 

Who are the clients for this treatment?

Some clients have regular intimate waxing and will come every 3-4 weeks to maintain a hairless appearance, whereas some clients will have a bikini line treatment if they are regular swimmers, gymnasts etc.

Some clients will want an intimate waxing treatment for their holidays and others clients will be brides wanting to get ready for their special day and their honeymoon trip. 

Some clients will combine intimate waxing with underarm or leg waxing, or even facial waxing so it is important to have good overall waxing skills. 

Styles of Intimate Waxing Taught

Bikini line – removal of all hair that will show when a pair of normal bikini panties is worn (not thongs)

Brazilian – hair is removed from the pubic area, leaving a strip of hair over the public mound about 2.5cm wide. 

Hollywood – hair is removed from the public and anal area 

Playboy – removal of hair from pubic, buttock and anal area

There are variations on the styles such as the Bollywood, which is Hollywood plus henna decoration of the pubic mount and the Las Vegas, where the pubic mound is decorated with diamante.  A Californian is a Brazilian style with colouring of the remaining hair. These variations are NOT covered on your course, and they go in and out of fashion.
