1-Day Manicure and Pedicure Diploma Course

Learn the art of manicure and pedicure, and how to recognise disorders of the nails, hands and feet.  Our comprehensive 1-day Manicure and Pedicure Diploma course will also teach you how to give a wonderfully relaxing hand, arm, foot and leg massage, and how to provide an expert French manicure.  

A first class manicure or pedicure with proper cuticle work, relaxing massage and expert polishing will have your clients returning again and again.  Students will learn to give basic, mid-range and deluxe manicures.  On this course paraffin and hot oil are not used as they can be messy - we prefer to use cosy heated gloves and foot warmers.  

Products

On the course you will use Mavala products. The company offers a really good starter kit for manicure products which is available as an optional extra. Mavala products can be bought wholesale so students can buy them after the course too. The products are free of animal ingredients and many of the nasties used in nails products (toluene, formaldehyde, phthalates, collphane, parabens, camphor and heavy metals). If you decide you want to be a Mavala therapist following our course, then we can tell you how to obtain these quality products to use in your business.  We can also run this course using allergy-safe products if you request this on booking.

This kit supplements the manicure kit but students will need to buy both to do full manicures and pedicures.  Kits are optional, can be pre-ordered when you pay for your course, and will be delivered directly to you unless you book at the last minute.  This kit contains enough products to enable students to start up as mobile or home-based salon therapists as they contain full-sized products. All our kits contain branded products and are high quality.
