1 OR 2-Day Ayurveda (Indian) Facial & Facial Treatment Diploma Course Package

1 OR 2-Day Ayurveda (Indian) Facial and Facial Treatments Diploma Course Package ~ £175 / £285

One-Day Ayurvedic Facials Diploma Course Package - £175

This course is a fantastic complement to Indian Head Massage and it is also a wonderful addition to the skills of the beauty therapist who already has Facial Treatments training and wants to offer a different kind of treatment using Ayurvedic techniques.

The face is rich in energy channels or nadis and in marmas, the energy points which are used to bring balance to the person.  This course teaches about the marmas of the face along with massage techniques to bring balance and harmony to the skin and the whole person. This treatment is suitable for both men and women. Products are chosen to help all types of skin, from dry and ageing to rosacea and acne. The Ayurvedic facial and body marmas are energy points along the nadis, and touching the points will awaken your natural beauty and keep your skin vibrant and healthy. It also makes skin more receptive to nutrients (which is why facials are so relaxing and beneficial given that 37 marma points are located on the head, shoulders, face and upper chest area). Treatment is often intuitive but students need a routine to learn and practice so that they build confidence.

Oils are chosen to meet the client’s doshas and so this can be offered as an anti-ageing treatment, as a treatment for troubled skin and simply as a wonderful pampering experience.

Assessment is based on your practical work, along with a short written test.

Accreditation: The course is insurable with Westminster Indemnity who will cover you without prior Facial Treatments training. The Beauty Guild/Guild of Holistic Therapists will cover students who already have Facial Treatments Training and they offer 14 CPD Points to their existing members who do the course.
